Abstract

This study aims to determine work ethics and work discipline significantly simultaneous to the performance of nurse Puskesmas Labruk Kidul District Lumajang District. This research is a quantitative research by finding associative association that is causal or research that is asking about the relationship between two or more variables and causality. Samples taken are 32 people. Sample technique used is simple random sampling (simple random sampling). The results of this study indicate that partially work ethics has a significant effect on the performance of nurses, while the work discipline has a significant influence on the performance of nurse Puskesmas Labruk Kidul District Lumajang District. Simultaneously work ethic and work discipline have a significant
influence on the performance of nurse Puskesmas Labruk Kidul District Lumajang District. The result of determination coefficient shows that 50,4% of nurse performance can be explained by independent variable that is work ethic and work discipline, while the rest is 49,6% nurse performance influenced by other variables not examined in this research for example leadership style, motivation Work, work environment, compensation and so on. The limitation of this research is to examine work ethics and work discipline as a factor affecting the performance of nurses, while other variables that can affect nurse's
performance, such as leadership style, work motivation, work environment, compensation and so forth are expected to be examined by next researcher in period and service Different internet.
