Abstract

Job stress is a general term that refers to the pressures and problems experienced by every employee in the company. Motivation is the desire to act. There is an opinion that motivation must be injected from the outside. But it is now increasingly understood in every person motivated by several different powers. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of work stress and work motivation partially or simultaneously significant to the performance of employees at AJB Bumiputera Lumajang. Respondents numbered 50 employees AJB Bumiputera Lumajang. By using multiple linear regression analysis, the result of this research shows that partially from work stress and work motivation influence to AJB Bumiputera Lumajang employee performance. While simultaneously work stress and work motivation variables show all variables simultaneously affect. With coefficient of determination value 65,3% employee
performance can be explained by independent variable that is job stress and work motivation while the rest is 34,7% employee performance influenced by other variables not examined in this research.
